1. Our Philosophy

Your data is yours. We built Recalibration to help you observe yourself clearly. Your privacy is fundamental to that mission.

2. What Data We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (for authentication)
• Password (encrypted, we never see it)

Health Tracking Data

• Daily signal values you record (sliders, fields)
• Dates and timestamps of entries
• Your experiment configuration (phases, milestones, custom settings)
• Tracker title and customizations

Technical Data

• Browser localStorage (for offline functionality)
• No cookies beyond authentication
• No analytics or tracking scripts

3. What We DON'T Collect

• ❌ No analytics or usage tracking
• ❌ No advertising data
• ❌ No location data
• ❌ No device identifiers
• ❌ No third-party tracking

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only for:

• Displaying your tracking interface
• Syncing data across your devices
• Generating your personal trend analysis
• Allowing you to export your data

We do not:

• Sell your data (ever)
• Share your data with third parties
• Use your data for marketing
• Analyze your data for any purpose other than showing it to you

5. How We Store Your Data

• Database: Supabase (secure PostgreSQL database)
• Location: Supabase servers (cloud infrastructure)
• Encryption: Data encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
• Access: Only you can access your data (via Row Level Security policies)

6. Data Retention

• Your data is retained as long as your account is active
• You can delete individual entries at any time
• You can delete your entire account from Account settings
• Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all your data at any time
• Export: Download your data in CSV/JSON format
• Delete: Remove entries or delete your entire account
• Modify: Edit or update any data you've entered

8. Data Sharing

We do not share your data. Period.

The only exception: If required by law (court order, subpoena), we may be legally obligated to disclose data.

9. Children's Privacy

Recalibration is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) for data isolation
• Secure authentication via Supabase Auth
• Regular security updates

However, no system is 100% secure. Use a strong, unique password.

11. Third-Party Services

We use:

• Supabase: Database and authentication (Supabase Privacy Policy)

That's it. No other third parties have access to your data.

12. Changes to Privacy Policy

If we make changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
